Southern Veterinary Partners has acquired and welcomed Vestavia Animal Clinic in Vestavia Hills, Alabama as its 14th animal hospital in Alabama and 65th across 10 southern states.

Based in Birmingham, Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is a veterinarian owned and operated regional network of animal hospitals in the South with a goal of providing the highest quality veterinary care to companion animals with exceptional client experiences. 

Vestavia Animal Clinic has served pets in Vestavia, Hoover and Birmingham communities since 1984 when it was founded by Dr. Shane West, who at the time of the acquisition owned Vestavia Animal Clinic with Dr. Brad Murphy and Dr. Frank McClure.
