Meet Staci Horne, an Acquisitions Manager here at SVP Home Office. We interviewed her to ask about her growth at SVP. Enjoy a glimpse into Staci’s personal and professional life!
How long have you been working at SVP?
Since April 2015 when I started working at Valleydale Animal Clinic, and I have been at Home Office since October 2018.
What is your current job title? Can you tell us a little bit about your role?
My current role is Acquisitions Manager, where I help new hospitals that have committed to selling to SVP through our financial diligence and legal processes, ultimately staying with them until they officially join the SVP family.
Have you had any other positions at SVP before this?
I started at Home Office as an Integration Specialist before moving into my new role.
What is your favorite part about working at SVP?
My team is my favorite part because we really do exemplify SVP’s WAG (Work Together, Amaze, and Grow) values. We work so incredibly well together and are continually thinking of ways to improve the process and our team.
How has SVP helped you in your career development?
From a local hospital perspective, they supported me while I completed my degree in Veterinary Technology and while ultimately obtaining my Vet Tech License. From there, my leader spent time talking through where I would like my career path to go, and from there, I realized I wanted to focus more on the business side. That decision led me to SVP’s Home Office with the support of my leadership team. SVP leadership has listened to my desires for growth and has really helped me obtain each and every goal along the way.
What are 3 words to describe SVP?
Growth, Collaboration, and Initiative
What is your proudest moment at SVP?
Aside from the day I passed my boards for my LVT, I’m most proud of being given the opportunity to take on the role as Acquisitions Manager.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Super tough question because I want to travel all over the place! Top bucket list places are Italy and Ireland, but I can’t help but always gravitate to any island with beautiful beaches.
Any fun facts about you that you want to share?
I had a motorcycle for years and miss it dearly, I name my pets after sports cars, I love to draw/paint in my spare time (which doesn’t really exist right now with 2 toddlers, ha!), and I”m really handy when it comes to home renovations/repairs.
