Southern Veterinary Partners is pleased to announce that Shores Animal Hospital and their Prestige Pet Resort Luxury Boarding & Grooming has joined SVP’s network of animal hospitals in the Southeastern United States. Located in Gainesville, Shores represents SVP’s fifth animal hospital, and first in Florida, and expands Southern Veterinary Partners’ footprint in the Southeast while serving as a launching point for further expansion into Central and Northern Florida.

Dr. Stephen Shores, a longtime veterinary leader in Florida, owned and operated Shores Animal Hospital since 1974. Shores is a general practice veterinary hospital with a reputation for providing high-quality care services for companion animals including wellness exams, surgery, emergency care, radiology, nutrition, dental, boarding, and grooming. SVP is pleased to welcome Dr. Shores, his associate veterinarians Dr. Brenda Ortiz and Dr. Denise Seufert, their tenured management team of Stacey Perrette, Karen Hardcastle and Brandy Hardcastle, and their staff of experienced technicians and receptionists.

SVP plans to expand services at Shores, hire additional personnel and provide centralized finance, accounting, human resources, IT, sales and marketing.
