Hurricane Florence devasted the Carolinas with over 35 inches of rain & flooding. People and pets lost their homes, while some lost their lives. Pets were separated from their owners.

Austin Veterinary Outreach and Rescue Of NC is based in Beaufort, North Carolina – an area severely damaged & still without power. Austin Veterinary Outreach & Rescue evacuated pets to St. Simons Island, GA and was assisted by our Seaside Veterinary Hospital. They are providing supplies to pet owners returning to the Beaufort area and helping reunite pets.  The leaders of this organization lost their own homes but are still dedicating their time & resources to helping pets!

While there are no SVP hospitals in the communities directly impacted, we want to help our neighbors and the pets who cannot help themselves.

Please join us in supporting Austin Veterinary Outreach & Rescue and the pets of eastern North Carolina. SVP will match donations raised during this fundraiser to further help Austin Veterinary Outreach help pets.

We also want to recognize our North Carolina, South Carolina & Georgia hospitals that are collecting supplies locally and getting those directly to pet owners in North Carolina.
