Southern Veterinary Partners earned the rank of 235 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.
This is the first year that Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is on the Inc.5000 list, which evaluates growth over a 3-year span. SVP was founded in 2014 with 3 veterinary hospitals in Alabama and as of August 15th, 2018 has 59 hospitals across 10 southern states.
SVP is the highest-ranking company in Birmingham and one Alabama on the list.
Southern Veterinary Partners has expanded its footprint and moved into two new states with the acquisitions of Glade Valley Animal Hospital in Frederick, Maryland and Lyndon Animal Clinic in Louisville, Kentucky.
With these additions, Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) now has 79 animal hospitals across 12 states from Texas to Maryland.

Additionally, based on the Inc. 5000 list, SVP one of the fastest-growing companies in Birmingham and Alabama and ranks highest on the list of any company in the veterinary industry.
Southern Veterinary Partners now has Student Consultant programs at 10 veterinary schools (and counting).
Second-year veterinary students work as ambassadors on their campuses to help build and foster relationships between SVP and the students, faculty and staff. The Student Consultants schedule meetings with SVP on campus and find opportunities for SVP to engage with students and faculty, as well as represent SVP on campus.
