Southern Veterinary Partners announces Mobley Veterinary Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee has joined Southern Veterinary Partners. With this acquisition, Southern Veterinary Partners has 5 veterinary hospitals in the greater Nashville area and 21 across 7 states in the South.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Southern Veterinary Partners is a veterinarian owned and operated a regional network of animal hospitals in the Southeast with a goal of providing the highest quality veterinary care to companion animals with exceptional client experiences.
Jay Price, DVM and CEO of Southern Veterinary Partners says, “Mobley Veterinary Clinic will be able to dedicate their time to patient and client care and allow Southern Veterinary Partners to handle the time-consuming areas of operating the hospital like HR and payroll. We are excited to further expand our network across Nashville and Tennessee.”
Mobley Veterinary Clinic has served east Nashville pets since the late 1950's. They are a full-service small animal hospital providing veterinary care, preventative medicine, boarding, and grooming.
Southern Veterinary Partners welcomes Dr. Summer Mobley, son of founder Dr. Ralph Mobley, and associates Dr. Michael Brannom, Dr. James Fullerton, Dr. Kimberly Sabo and Dr. Georgia Parsons, Dr. Kelly Traina and their tenured staff to our team.
Since joining Southern Veterinary Partners, I am no longer stressed by items such as the ever-increasing cost of health insurance, maintaining our drug inventory and processing employee payroll. As the owner of a family-owned business that has been a mainstay in East Nashville for over 60 years, I spent countless hours on these tasks that took time away from my patients, clients, and staff. The transition to SVP has been pain-free for everyone at Mobley Veterinary Clinic and we see nothing but continued success for the future.
Southern Veterinary Partners provides centralized support for the animal hospitals in its network including marketing, HR, finance and inventory and purchasing management.
The vet hospitals retain their names, culture and local commitment to their communities as well as veterinarians and staff that provide their clients with high-quality veterinary care. Southern Veterinary Partners believes that leveraging its infrastructure allows the hospitals in its network to focus on medicine and their patients to facilitate best-in-class veterinary services and exceptional client experiences.
